How to use these pages

Each stained glass coloring page is an original window design: arched and gothic windows, round rose windows and rectangular glass panels. The panes are separated by thick black lines that stand in for the lead, so the finished page looks like real glass with the light shining through.

Simple pages have big panes that are quick to fill and suit beginners, seniors and younger artists. Detailed pages have many smaller panes and take longer. Many windows have a centerpiece, such as a flower rosette, a star, a heart or a sunburst.

For a glowing effect, use bright, saturated colors and place contrasting colors next to each other. Markers give the most glass-like look. You can also color the page lightly, cut out the window and tape it to a sunny window.

Frequently asked questions

Are the stained glass coloring pages free to print?

Yes. All of them are free for personal, home-school and classroom use. No account is needed.

Which stained glass pages are simple?

Pages marked "Simple" have fewer, larger panes and extra-thick lead lines. They are a good choice for beginners, kids and anyone who prefers bigger shapes.

How do I make it look like real stained glass?

Use bright markers or colored pencils, keep each pane a single solid color, and avoid putting two similar colors side by side. Leaving the lead lines black does the rest.

Can I color them online?

Yes. Tap a color, then tap any pane to fill it, and download your finished window as a picture.

Is there a PDF to print?

Yes. Every page has free PDF downloads for US Letter and A4 paper, with the picture centered inside print-safe margins. Choose "Download PDF (Letter)" or "Download PDF (A4)" on the page and print at 100% (actual size).
