Name Labels to Print and Color

Type the names, one per line, and get a sheet of labels with each name in bubble letters and a picture to color. Use them for pegs, drawers, books and lunch boxes. One name fills a whole sheet; a class list makes one label each.

Up to 48 names of 20 letters.

Labels per page

Tip: print at 100% (actual size) on card or full-page sticker paper, then cut along the outer line. Large labels are 3.75 × 2.4 in, slim ones 3.75 × 1.5 in. Each sheet prints on its own page. Names you type are drawn in your browser and not sent to us.

Ideas for name labels

Teachers use the large labels for coat pegs, cubbies and tray fronts, and the slim ones for drawers, book boxes and table name tags. At home they work for lunch boxes, school books and toy bins. Let children color their own label first: it helps them recognize their name and makes the label theirs.

Want more practice with a name? Make a name tracing worksheet or a name coloring page, or hand out a certificate with the child’s name on it.
