Coloring pages for seniors
Large-print colouring pages and word searches with grown-up designs: big shapes, thick lines and familiar subjects, nothing childish. They suit older adults, people with low vision or less steady hands, and memory-care activity sessions. All free to print at home, in day centres and in care homes.
Bold and easy coloring pages
Extra-thick outlines and a few large shapes: flowers, butterflies, hearts, stars, rainbows and simple mandalas. Quick to finish and easy to see.
Large-print word searches
Big letters on a 10×10 grid, with words running only across and down. Every puzzle has an answer key.
Easy mandalas
Large, bold spaces in a calm, symmetrical design, for anyone who enjoys a little more pattern.
Simple stained glass
Big panes and thick lead lines that look bright with markers.
Tips for carers and activity coordinators
- Choose a page by how much detail the person enjoys, not by age. Bold and easy pages are a good place to start.
- Print with “Fit to page” on Letter or A4 for the biggest shapes, and turn off draft or economy mode so the lines print fully black.
- Chunky felt-tip pens, crayons or water-based paint sticks are easier to hold and cover big shapes quickly.
- Offer a small choice of three or four colors rather than a full box.
- Talk about the picture as you go: favorite flowers, a holiday, a place it brings to mind. The conversation matters as much as the coloring.
For care homes and day centres
Printing free pages for the people you look after is always free. If you run activities for a whole building, the care-home activity licence adds a print-ready large-print collection with unlimited copies at one site for a year.
