Games with the 7 times table cards
- Most of the 7 times table is already known from other tables: 7 × 3 is 3 × 7. The only new facts are 7 × 7 = 49 and 7 × 8 = 56.
- Remember 56 = 7 × 8 as “5, 6, 7, 8”.
- Turn all the cards face down and pick two: does one show the answer to the other? Mix with the answer sides of another set for a matching game.
- Race the clock: how many of the 13 cards can you answer in one minute?
Learn the table first with the 7 times table practice sheet, and keep a multiplication chart nearby to check.
