Ten frame games
- Roll a dice and fill that many squares. How many more make ten?
- Show a frame for two seconds, hide it and ask “how many?”.
- Build the same number two ways, for example 6 as 5 and 1 or as 3 and 3.
When counting to 20 is secure, move on to the 0–20 number line and the hundreds chart. For more counting practice see the number coloring pages.
