The pōhutukawa (Metrosideros excelsa) is a native coastal tree whose crimson flowers bloom around Christmas, which is why it is called New Zealand's Christmas tree (Department of Conservation). Tap a colour, then tap any shape to fill it, or print the A4 PDF and use pencils, crayons or felt pens.

Printing tips
- Choose A4 in the print dialog in New Zealand and Australia, and print at 100% so nothing is cut off.
- Red, crimson and scarlet pencils for the poppies and pōhutukawa; leave the anthers yellow or gold.
- Card stock makes the wreaths and ornament sturdy enough to cut out and hang.
