Up nextMultiplication Chart 1–10 →Every square of this 1–12 times tables chart can be coloured, online or on paper. Colouring the patterns is a great way to understand the chart: the square numbers make a diagonal line, the 5s make two stripes, the even numbers make a checkerboard of rows and columns, and the answers are the same on both sides of the diagonal. Online, pick a colour and tap the squares; “Show hints” tints the square numbers.

Printing tips
- Print at 100% (actual size) so the squares keep their size; the PDFs are already set up for Letter and A4.
- Slip a chart into a plastic sleeve and use a dry-erase marker to circle facts, then wipe it clean.
- Choose the black and white chart to save colour ink; it uses no grey fills.
