Up next3 Times Table →The 2 times table is one of the first three times tables most children learn, usually from about age 6 or 7. This sheet starts with the whole table, 2 × 1 = 2 up to 2 × 12 = 24, then three practice levels: ★ in order, ★★ mixed up, and ★★★ missing numbers like 2 × ☐ = 14. Fold the table back along the dashed line for the harder levels.

Tips for learning the 2 times table
- Every answer in the 2 times table is even, and the last digit goes 2, 4, 6, 8, 0 and starts again.
- Times 2 is the same as doubling: 2 × 8 is double 8, which is 16.
Say the facts out loud while doing level ★, then try level ★★ without looking. Level ★★★ asks “2 times what makes 12?”, which is the first step towards dividing by 2. When the sheet is easy, move on to the 2 times table worksheet for mixed review.
