Up nextCursive Letter R →Capital Q in cursive starts between the baseline and the middle line on the left and is made in one movement. Small q starts at the middle line on the right and is made in two strokes. Watch the numbered arrows in the box first, then trace the dashed letters from their green dots: a row of capitals, a row of small letters, and the joined word "queen". Copy Q and q next to the models, and finish with a row written on your own.

- Tilt the paper slightly, the same way the letters slope, so writing feels natural.
- Trace each model with a finger first, saying the strokes out loud, then use a pencil.
