Up next9 Times Table →The 8 times table is often one of the last two tables children learn, so most of its facts are already known from other tables. This sheet starts with the whole table, 8 × 1 = 8 up to 8 × 12 = 96, then three practice levels: ★ in order, ★★ mixed up, and ★★★ missing numbers like 8 × ☐ = 56. Fold the table back along the dashed line for the harder levels.

Tips for learning the 8 times table
- To times by 8, double three times: 8 × 6 → 12 → 24 → 48.
- The last digits of the 8 times table go 8, 6, 4, 2, 0 and repeat.
Say the facts out loud while doing level ★, then try level ★★ without looking. Level ★★★ asks “8 times what makes 48?”, which is the first step towards dividing by 8. When the sheet is easy, move on to the 8 times table worksheet for mixed review.
