Up next6 Times Table →The 5 times table is one of the first three times tables most children learn, usually from about age 6 or 7. This sheet starts with the whole table, 5 × 1 = 5 up to 5 × 12 = 60, then three practice levels: ★ in order, ★★ mixed up, and ★★★ missing numbers like 5 × ☐ = 35. Fold the table back along the dashed line for the harder levels.

Tips for learning the 5 times table
- Every answer in the 5 times table ends in 5 or 0.
- Times 5 is half of times 10: 5 × 8 is half of 80, which is 40.
Say the facts out loud while doing level ★, then try level ★★ without looking. Level ★★★ asks “5 times what makes 30?”, which is the first step towards dividing by 5. When the sheet is easy, move on to the 5 times table worksheet for mixed review.
