Questions about I spy sheets

How do you play I Spy on paper?

Look at the first picture in the row at the bottom, find every copy of it in the big picture, and count them. Write the number in the box. Crossing out or colouring each one as you count stops you counting it twice. Then move on to the next picture.

Is there an answer key?

Yes. Page 2 of every PDF is the answer key, with the count written in each box and the total number of pictures on the sheet. On screen, press “Show solution”.

What age are these for?

Easy sheets suit ages 3 to 6 (five kinds, counts up to 6). Medium sheets suit ages 5 to 8. The hard Christmas sheet, with more than 60 small pictures, is a good challenge for ages 7 to 11 and for grown-ups who like a puzzle.
