How to use these pages
Each set is one PDF. The 5×5 sets have 24 different cards with a free square in the middle, the preschool sets have 12 different 3×3 cards with nine big pictures, and the word bingo set has words in large print instead of pictures. After the cards come the caller cards (cut them out and draw them from a bowl) and a caller checklist to tick as you go.
The cards are made so that no two share a whole row, column or diagonal. That means two players can't win at the same moment on the same line, which saves a lot of arguments at a party table. Every picture in the set is on at least one card, so no call is wasted.
Every picture is our own simple line art, with its name underneath, so children who can't read yet can play by matching pictures and early readers can practise the words. The squares can be coloured in before the game, or on a tablet in the colouring studio.
Frequently asked questions
How do you play picture bingo?
Give each player a card and some counters (buttons, coins, raisins or a crayon). The caller pulls one caller card at a time and says the name. Players cover that picture if it is on their card. The first to cover a whole row, column or diagonal shouts "Bingo!". With little ones, play until someone fills the whole card.
How many people can play?
Up to 24 with a 5×5 set and up to 12 with a 3×3 set, one card each. For a bigger class, print the set twice and give pairs a card to share.
Are all the cards different?
Yes. Every card in a set has a different mix of pictures, and no two cards share a winning line.
Can I reuse the cards?
Print them on card stock, or slip them into plastic sleeves and mark the squares with a dry-wipe pen.
Is there a PDF to print?
Yes. Every page has free PDF downloads for US Letter and A4 paper, with the picture centered inside print-safe margins. Choose "Download PDF (Letter)" or "Download PDF (A4)" on the page and print at 100% (actual size).
