Dividing by 3 undoes the 3 times table: 3 × 6 = 18, so 18 ÷ 3 = 6. This sheet lists all twelve division facts for 3, from 3 ÷ 3 = 1 to 36 ÷ 3 = 12, in a box to fold out of sight, then three practice levels: ★ in order, ★★ mixed up, and ★★★ missing numbers like ☐ ÷ 3 = 7. The answer key is on page 2.

Tips for dividing by 3
- Count up in threes on your fingers: 3, 6, 9, 12, 15. Five fingers, so 15 ÷ 3 = 5.
- If the digits of a number add up to 3, 6 or 9, it divides by 3 exactly.
Every fact on this sheet comes from the 3 times table: ask “3 times what makes this number?”. When all three levels feel easy, try the mixed division facts review.
