About Anzac Day

Anzac Day, on 25 April, remembers New Zealanders and Australians who served and died in war and honours returned service people (Ministry for Culture and Heritage). In 2027 it falls on a Sunday: New Zealand's public holiday is Monday 26 April, and some Australian states and territories, such as the ACT, add Monday 26 April too.
