24 different 5×5 cards, each with 24 pictures and a free square in the centre, from a set of 30 New Year pictures with their names. No two cards share a winning line, so only one player can win on any row. The PDF also has 2 pages of caller cards to cut out and a caller checklist. Good for New Year's Eve parties and the first school days of January.

How to play New Year bingo

  1. Print the PDF at 100% and cut out the caller cards along the dashed lines.
  2. Give each player a card and some counters: buttons, coins, cereal or a crayon to colour the squares.
  3. The caller draws one caller card at a time, says it out loud and ticks it on the checklist.
  4. Players cover the square if it is on their card. The first to cover a whole row, column or diagonal (the free square counts) shouts "Bingo!"

  • Card stock (160–200 gsm) lasts for many games; plain paper is fine for one party.
  • Cut the caller cards along the dashed lines and keep them in an envelope with the set.
