“eight” is one of the 41 third grade Dolch sight words, usually learned in third grade (Year 3–4). It has five letters (e-i-g-h-t), and on the third grade read-and-color sheet it fills one of the 60 boxes, so children read it once there. It is the only third grade word that starts with “e”. On this worksheet it is hidden twice in a small letter grid, all across.
