Twenty-four numbered strips, from "24 sleeps to Christmas" on 1 December to "Christmas Eve! 1 more sleep". Colour the numbers and pictures, cut the strips out, then loop them into a chain with glue or tape, highest number at the bottom. Tear off one link every morning.
How to make the chain
- Print the 3 sheets at 100% (actual size) and colour the numbers and pictures.
- Cut out each strip along its outline. There are 24 strips, numbered 24 to 1.
- Curl strip 1 into a ring, picture outside, and glue or tape the tab. Thread strip 2 through it and close that one, and so on, so the highest number ends up at the bottom.
- Hang it up and tear off the bottom link every morning.

Printing tips
- Print at 100% (actual size) so the strips are the same length.
- Glue sticks and tape both work; tape is quicker for little hands.
- Hang the chain where it can be reached for the daily tear-off.
