Printed size and ideas

The clock prints 17 cm on A4 (6¼ in on US Letter) across when the PDF is printed at 100% (actual size). Choose the A4 PDF in New Zealand, Australia and the UK, and the Letter PDF in the US and Canada.

  • Laminate it or put it in a sheet protector, then draw the hands with a dry-erase marker and wipe them off for the next time.
  • Make a daily routine clock: draw the hands for wake-up, lunch and bedtime in three colours.
  • Fold it into quarters to see that quarter past is a quarter of the way round.
Use on your class or library site

  • Keep the make-your-own clock beside the worksheets so children can set each time before writing it.
