Neptune is the farthest planet from the Sun, so cold and dark that one year there lasts 165 Earth years. It has the fastest winds in the solar system. The dark oval is a storm like the Great Dark Spot that the Voyager 2 spacecraft photographed in 1989, with bright white clouds nearby. Its big moon Triton is in the corner. Color Neptune deep blue.
