Memory Match Game Online for Kids and Seniors
A free memory match game (also called pairs or concentration) to play online, with no download or sign-up. Turn over two cards at a time and find every pair of our own bright pictures: animals, Christmas, or toys, food and things. Choose 6 pairs for a 3 year old up to 24 for grown-ups, add the word under each picture for early readers and English learners, or pick the large, calm style for seniors: big cards, words on, no clock on show, and cards that wait for you.

How to play
- Tap a card to turn it over, then tap another. If the two pictures match, they stay face up.
- If they don’t match, they turn back over. Try to remember where each picture is.
- Find every pair to win. Fewer turns is better, but there is no time limit.
- Choose the pictures, how many pairs, and whether the cards show words. “Kids” makes the cards bigger and brighter; “Large and calm” is made for seniors: 6 big cards with words, no clock on show, and cards that don’t match stay up until you tap again.
- Keyboard: the arrow keys move between cards, Enter or Space turns one over.
Who it’s for: Kids from age 3, families, grown-ups, and seniors (including people living with dementia, with a carer). Sound is off unless you turn it on, there is no time limit, and “Pause” stops the clock.

Memory match tips and strategy
- Turn cards over in order, row by row, so you know where you have already looked.
- Say what you see out loud (“penguin, top corner”): naming a picture makes it easier to remember.
- After your first card, think before turning the second: have you seen its partner already?
- Start with fewer pairs and add more when you finish easily. Fewer turns is the real score, not the clock.
Prefer cards on the table?

Questions
How many pairs should I choose?
Most 3 year olds manage 6 pairs and 4 to 5 year olds 8 to 10. Children from 6 enjoy 12, and older children and grown-ups 18 or 24. On a phone, fewer pairs means bigger cards.
Is it good for seniors or people with dementia?
Many carers use matching games as a calm, shared activity. Choose “Large and calm”: six big cards with the name of each picture, no clock on show, and cards that stay face up until you tap again, so nobody is rushed. It is a pastime, not a medical treatment.
What does “Pictures and words” do?
It prints the name under each picture, like “Penguin” or “Hot chocolate”. That helps early readers and people learning English to match the word to the picture as they play.
What is “Today’s game”?
The same cards in the same places for everyone today, so a class, a family or a care-home group can play the same game. “New game” shuffles a new one.
Is it safe for children?
Yes. There is no chat, no account, no in-game purchases and no links to other sites. Adverts on the page are non-personalised and sit below the game, away from where children tap.
Is it free? Do I need to sign up or download anything?
It is free and plays in your web browser on a computer, tablet or phone. There is nothing to download and no account. Your stats are kept in this browser only. A few adverts on the page, kept well away from the game, pay for the site.
Does it work on a tablet or phone?
Yes. Tap with a finger on a tablet or phone, or use a mouse. It also plays with the keyboard alone (see “How to play”).
