More to think about for older children: their age and Grade, three words that describe them, what they are really good at and what they want to get better at this year, their favorite subject, book and game or sport, where they would go if they could go anywhere in the world, a fun fact, and a small box for a self-portrait.

How to use this sheet
- Use the sheet to set one goal for the year, then come back to it at the end of the term.
- Fill one in about yourself and show it first: children love finding out about their teacher.
- Pin the finished sheets up in a “meet the class” display, or keep them to compare with an end-of-year page.
This is the US version: it says Grade, color and favorite. The New Zealand and Australia version says Year, colour and favourite.
