Hanukkah Color by Number
Free printable Hanukkah color by number pages (colour by number in New Zealand and Australia) for the festival of lights: a nine-branch menorah with the helper candle in the middle, a spinning dreidel, a Star of David, a bag of chocolate gelt, a plate of latkes with applesauce and jam doughnuts. Every picture comes with three key styles and a coloured answer key, and the color by code pages hide the same pictures behind addition and subtraction facts. Print a free US Letter or A4 PDF, or colour online. All 10 pages are free.

How to use these pages
Each space in the picture has a number, and the key under the picture says which colour goes with it. Colour every space and the Hanukkah picture appears. The gelt, latkes and doughnut pages have big spaces and suit ages 5 to 8; the menorah, with nine candles and nine flames, suits ages 6 to 9.
Every PDF has the page three ways: a colour swatch key for children who can’t read colour words yet, a “3 = blue” word key, and a number-word key (“three = blue”). Page 2 is the finished picture, so checking takes a second.
The color by code pages turn the same pictures into maths practice: sums within 10 or 20 and subtraction, each answer a colour in the key. Eight nights idea: print one page for each night of Hanukkah. For pictures to colour freely, see the Hanukkah colouring pages.
