Eight rows of dimes, nickels and pennies, each adding up to 25 cents or less. The coins in each row are already in order, biggest value first, so children practise counting on: a dime and two nickels is 10, 15, 20. Every coin shows its value, which keeps the focus on counting rather than on remembering. Write the total in the box at the end of the row. Page 2 is the answer key, and a handful of real coins makes a good check.
