A number line from 0 to 100 with a hop of 10 drawn over every step and five numbers to fill in, then six rows of seven numbers counting on by 10s with three gaps in each. Three rows start on a number that is not a ten (such as 7, 17, 27), because counting by 10s from any number is a first grade skill. Say the numbers out loud as you go: skip counting is easiest when it has a rhythm. Page 2 is the answer key.

Tips for this counting worksheet

  • Counting by 10s only changes the tens digit: 17, 27, 37.
  • Use bundles of ten straws or base ten blocks.
  • Then try counting back by 10s from 100.

Page 2 of the PDF is the answer key. The skip counting charts show the same counts as a colour pattern on the hundreds chart. When this sheet feels easy, move on to the even and odd numbers worksheet and the times tables worksheets. See all counting worksheets.
