Ten Christmas sentences, each with a word missing, and a word bank of ten Dolch sight words at the top: under, help, look, little, ride, came, said, from, white and they. Children read each sentence, find the word that makes sense and write it in the box, then cross it off the bank. Only one word fits each sentence. Reading the whole sentence aloud is the best check.
