Isometric Graph Paper

Isometric graph paper is covered in equilateral triangles: vertical lines plus lines at 30° each way, so cubes and boxes drawn along the lines look three-dimensional without any perspective. Each triangle side is exactly 1 cm on both the A4 and the Letter PDF at 100%, and a second version has 5 mm triangles for finer drawings.

Printing tips

  • Print at 100% or "Actual size". "Fit to page" shrinks the sheet by a few percent and the squares stop being exact.
  • Measure the check bar at the top of the sheet with a ruler: if it is 5 cm (or 2 in), every square is the stated size.
  • Use the A4 PDF on A4 paper and the Letter PDF on Letter paper; both are drawn to the same exact sizes.
