2 mm Graph Paper has squares exactly 2 mm wide (5 squares per centimetre) on both the US Letter and the A4 PDF, as long as you print at 100% (actual size): 97 × 110 on US Letter and 94 × 118 on A4.

A 2 mm grid gives accurate graphs from experiments, scale floor plans and knitting or cross-stitch charts; the bold version shows every centimetre. There is a second version with bold lines every 1 cm, for counting squares at a glance. A check bar at the top of each sheet shows whether your printer kept the scale.

Printing tips

  • Print at 100% or "Actual size". "Fit to page" shrinks the sheet by a few percent and the squares stop being exact.
  • Measure the check bar at the top of the sheet with a ruler: if it is 5 cm (or 2 in), every square is the stated size.
  • Use the A4 PDF on A4 paper and the Letter PDF on Letter paper; both are drawn to the same exact sizes.
