The whole solar system on one page: the Sun in the corner and the eight planets on their orbits, in order, each with its name. Look for the asteroid belt, a ring of rocks between Mars and Jupiter. The planets are not to scale (the real Sun is far too big to fit), but the giants are drawn bigger than the rocky planets. Color it online, or print the PDF.

The planets in order

  1. Mercury
  2. Venus
  3. Earth
  4. Mars
  5. Jupiter
  6. Saturn
  7. Uranus
  8. Neptune

Remember the order with a sentence: My Very Educated Mother Just Served Us Nachos. The first four planets are small and rocky; the last four are giants made mostly of gas and ice. Pluto, past Neptune, is a dwarf planet. Test yourself with the label the planets worksheet. See all solar system coloring pages.
