Twelve adjectives in word bubbles: four for size (big, tiny, tall, short), four colors and four feelings. Children write each one in the size, color or feeling box. Sorting shows that adjectives describe different things about a noun, which helps when writing: a big red balloon tells more than a balloon. Then make a sentence with one word from each box. Page 2 is the answer key.
