Twelve coins with no numbers on them, mixed up: pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters and dollar coins. A clue strip at the top shows each coin with its name and value. Children look closely at the clues a real coin gives: the size (a dime is smaller than a penny but worth more), the edge (dimes and quarters have ridges) and the colour (the penny is copper, the dollar coin gold). They write the name and the value under every coin. Page 2 is the answer key.
