Two number mazes. Start at the green square in the top left and step across or down, up or back, to the next number in the count, all the way to the red square in the bottom right. One maze counts by 2s and the other by 5s, and the numbers next to the path are close but wrong, so children have to know the count. Shade the path as you go. Page 2 shows both paths.

Tips for this counting worksheet

  • Say the count before you start: 2, 4, 6, 8 or 5, 10, 15, 20.
  • Only step across or down, up or back, never corner to corner.
  • Shade each square on the path as you go so you can see where you have been.

Page 2 of the PDF is the answer key. The skip counting charts show the same counts as a colour pattern on the hundreds chart. When this sheet feels easy, move on to the even and odd numbers worksheet and the times tables worksheets. See all counting worksheets.
