The thirteen states of the West region: the eleven on the mainland from Washington down to New Mexico and across to Colorado, plus Alaska and Hawaii in their boxes at the bottom. Each state has a number, counted from north to south, and a line on the right for its name. Alaska is shown smaller than its real size; it is in fact the largest state of all. The answer key is on page 2.

The answer key lists them in the order of the numbers. In alphabetical order: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming.
