Twenty-five facts from every table, 0 to 12, written in columns with the answer box under the line, the way children will set out long multiplication later. Only a few use 0 or 1; the rest come from the 2 to 12 times tables, in random order. It is a good check that every table is known, not just the last one practised. Tips for this multiplication worksheet
- Write the answer under the line, ones under the ones.
- Do the facts you know first, then come back to the slow ones.
- Make flash cards for any you got wrong.
Page 2 of the PDF is the answer key. To learn one table at a time, use the times tables worksheets and flash cards; for a colouring break, try the times tables color by number pages. When this sheet feels easy, move on to the 2-digit by 1-digit multiplication sheets and the division worksheets. See all multiplication worksheets.
