Eight 2-digit by 2-digit long multiplications, such as 46 × 23, with a box for each step. First multiply the top number by the ones (46 × 3 = 138), then by the tens (46 × 20 = 920, so the second row ends in a zero), then add the two rows: 1,058. The answer key on page 2 shows both partial products, so children can find exactly which step went wrong. Answers go up to four digits.
